Revisiting America’s Best Idea

Programming Announcement from the Finest Bagels Staff:

Today the National Parks Service celebrates its one hundredth birthday.  Born from the idea that we owe it to future generations to preserve and protect the natural beauty that we have ourselves been afforded, the NPS has faithfully stood watch over eighty-five million acres of forest, mountain, coastline, and tundra.  To pay our respect to this bastion of conservation and adventure, the staff writers of the Finest Bagels Blog will be authoring a new series of articles – “Revisiting America’s ‘Best Idea”  to celebrate the Parks’ Centennial anniversary. These articles will explore the mission, policy relevance, and future of the NPS. You can read the first post in this series here

Happy Trails,

Tom, John, and Winston.
